CCTV News (Focus Interview): In the last program, we mentioned that some students were used by Taiwan 's spies without knowing it, but were discovered by the national security department in time. And some people have clearly felt that the identity of the other party is wrong in their interactions, but are still fortunate to do things for the other party. What kind of consequences will this behavior cause?
In 2015, Zhu Zhu, a student from the Mainland, went to a university in Taiwan for an exchange. He went to a Taiwan university for an open class, and met a Taiwan student doing mainland studies. Xiao Zhu was working on a dissertation at the time and wanted to interview some senior local people, but couldn't find the way. The student said that he could recommend him a politician. The politician is an assistant to the Aboriginal Legislative Council, named Xu Ziqing. Soon, Zhu met Xu Ziqing.
With the help of Xu Ziqing, Xiao Zhu quickly interviewed several high-ranking Taiwanese people who could not even imagine it. In this regard, Xu Ziqing did not ask for anything in return, but only hoped that Xiao Zhu could help himself a little.
Xu Ziqing often went to Xiao Zhu to party, and the two became familiar with each other more than once. They talked casually, but once, a topic that Xu Zi Qing suddenly asked caused Xiao Zhu's suspicion.
Xiao Zhu avoided this topic and Xu Ziqing didn't mention it again. After returning to the mainland, Xu Ziqing asked Xiao Zhu to help collect information, go to some seminars and so on. Xiao Zhu, who had doubts, made excuses to quit. But thinking that in Taiwan many things depend on Xu Ziqing's help, Xiao Zhu still did one thing for Xu Ziqing, which was to introduce mainland students to her. In 2016, Xiao Zhu did not pass when he applied for a cross-strait student summer camp in Taiwan. He told Xu Ziqing the news.
With the help of Xu Ziqing, Xiao Zhu finally got the invitation. In return for Xu Ziqing's help, Xiao Zhu invited an acquaintance working in an important state organ to go to Taiwan. Before leaving, Xiao Zhu's WeChat content to Xu Ziqing was this: I went with a friend this time. He is a civil servant in the XX ministry. There is a space in the middle of the words XX. The meaning of this is unclear. Xu Ziqing replied with a few grinning expressions, and then said: I treat. On the third day that Xiao Zhu and Xiao Ding arrived in Taiwan, Xu Ziqing invited the two to dinner and formally met Xiao Ding.
The day before Xiaoding left the stage, Xu Ziqing saw him off again. This time, Xu Ziqing showed great interest in Xiao Ding's work.
Xiaoding casually disclosed some recent activities of the unit, and Xu Ziqing also revealed some information to Xiaoding. Xiaoding was very impressed with this matter, because it was not long before what Xu Ziqing said was confirmed.
Xiaoding and Xu Ziqing kept in touch through WeChat. Sometimes Xiaoding felt bad when she got off work late or was reprimanded by the leader. Xu Ziqing would give some comfort. She also sent Xiaoding some souvenirs and small gifts from time to time. The two interacted more and more. The more frequently.
Xu Ziqing told Xiaoding that she was going to open a cosmetics company in mainland China and wanted to ask Xiaoding to take a share. It is natural to cooperate to start a company. Xiaoding is overwhelmed by the invitation and promises. Xu Ziqing said that before starting a company, it is necessary to understand the cross-strait policy trends, and this all depends on Xiaoding's help. In response to Xu Ziqing's request, Xiaoding immediately issued a guarantee ticket: If you have any questions, please contact me.
Driven by the interests, Xiaoding began to send Xu Ziqing frequently to the unit with secret-grade red-headed documents, and also explained intentionally: I gave you all the secret-grade documents, otherwise you could not read them all, and there were many documents every day.
In spite of his concerns, he still took risks. In just three months, Xiaoding successively provided Xu Ziqing with multiple internal documents, including one at the secret level and four at the confidential level. As their transaction was discovered by the security department, Xiao Ding had not become a prisoner until Xu Ziqing gave him a return.
Let ’s take a look at the true face of Xu Ziqing. Her real name is Xu Yunyuan. She was born in August 1980 and is a Taiwan spy agent. In recent years, she has been active in universities such as Taiwan University, Taiwan University of Political Science, Taiwan Chinese Culture University; her status is a legislative assistant for a while, a PhD from Tamkang University, and a tour guide, volunteer, etc. She approached mainland students with different looks in order to identify countermeasures. According to the national security department, there are currently more than ten mainland students linked by Xu Ziqing.
In order to collect mainland intelligence, Xu Ziqing not only changed his face often, but also developed people with different professional identities as helpers in Taiwan. On March 26, 2015, at Wutong Wharf, Xiamen City, Fujian Province , a passenger ship sailing from Xiamen to Kinmen is about to set sail. Passengers are lining up to pass security checks. At this time, a man was stopped by staff of the national security agency. The man was then taken away for questioning and examination. When the staff opened the tea box that the man carried with him, he discovered the secret inside the lid: there were 5 mobile SD cards affixed to the lid, and the card contained mainland secret documents. It turned out that the man's surname was Cai and he was a Taiwan spy, and his on-line was Xu Ziqing. In 2010, Mr. Cai, a consultant to a legislator in Taiwan, introduced him to Xu Ziqing. Cai is the secretary-general of an association. He often travels to mainland China to participate in cross-strait exchange activities and can meet many mainland officials. After the two knew each other, Xu Ziqing revealed his true identity to Cai.
Xu Ziqing made specific requests and made promises to Cai.
During that time, Cai had his debt crushed, and he agreed to Xu Ziqing's request in one gulp. Every time he returned to Taiwan, he immediately reported what he learned to Xu Ziqing.
Cai not only gave Xu Ziqing the official business cards collected on the mainland, but also provided the other party with specific information such as their department and level. In order to get more money, Cai always looked for information sources that would make Xu Ziqing more satisfied. In 2014, by chance, Cai met an official with the surname of Huang who worked in an important institution in the mainland, and he immediately reported to Xu Ziqing. Xu Ziqing was very interested. He specifically asked Cai to meet and urged Cai to hit the iron while he was hot and find a business excuse as soon as possible to go to the mainland to meet Brother Huang.
After seeing Brother Huang, Cai put forward specific requirements for collecting information in accordance with Xu Ziqing's instructions, and gave it to Brother Huang for 30,000 yuan as a gift.
Cai told Xu Ziqing about Huang's response.
Nineteen days later, Cai came to the mainland again. During this meeting, he handed over the special mobile phone and SD card brought from Taiwan to collect information to Brother Huang, and told Xu Ziqing's requirements one by one.
Cai went to the mainland twelve times to contact Brother Huang. Every time Cai entered, Mr. Cai brought a list of information collected by Xu Ziqing, and brought the SD card of the mobile phone where Brother Huang had taken the documents back to Taiwan and gave it to Xu Ziqing. In the process, Xu Ziqing's requirements continued to escalate.
In order to pass information, Cai frequently traveled between Taiwan and the mainland until he was captured by the national security department. After investigation and trial, Cai rebelled against the staff of state organs on the mainland and collected 10 secret documents and 4 internal information, which constituted a crime of espionage. He was eventually sentenced to 5 years in prison and deprived of political rights for one year.
Xiao Zhu, who was introduced at the beginning of the program, poses a threat to national security and has been punished accordingly. Xiao Ding was sentenced to serving in a secret post for Taiwan ’s spy development strategy against staff members of important mainland authorities. Everything is done for personal self-interest. For every citizen, safeguarding national security is not only a constitutional obligation but also a legal bottom line. In front of national security, taking advantage of the word and fortunately, it will inevitably lead to a calamity.
