According to the "China Times" report from Taiwan , a fishing boat on the mainland capsized in the Mashan waters of Jinmen this morning (31st). The Jinmen Sea Patrol and Xiamen Maritime Search and Rescue Center sent a total of 11 vessels and a helicopter to expand their search. No whereabouts.
The Jinmen Sea Patrol pointed out that at 7:30 am today, the 12th patrol zone of the “Marine Patrol Branch Jinmapeng Branch” received a report saying that it had mastered a mainland fishing boat to overturn in the Mashan waters, and immediately dispatched PP-3556, 3577 , 10053 boat and shore patrol CP-1018 boat rushed to the scene for rescue, and notified the "Air Force Corps" reinforcement helicopter.
After receiving the notification, the Jinmen Sea Patrol Team also immediately launched the cross-strait joint search and rescue mechanism, notifying the Xiamen Maritime Search and Rescue Center and the Xiamen Marine Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement Detachment to verify the status and confirm that the capsized fishing boat was a "Longwenyu 65187" from the mainland. There are 3 men and 2 women, a total of 5 people, all are missing. The mainland also immediately dispatched ships such as sea cruise 08179, Huaying 391, East China Sea Rescue 202, and China Sea Monitor 8021 and 8028 to join the search and rescue operation.
According to the "Thailand Patrol" and "Search and Rescue Optimized Planning System" of the Taiwan authorities, the drifting "hot zone" of missing persons covers the seas such as Mashan, Hanshehua, and Weitouwan. A total of 11 search and rescue boats and a helicopter were dispatched on both sides , Conduct joint search and rescue operations within the drifting "hot zone". So far, no personnel have been found.
